God has prepared a place especially for you.

The table is set with all of your favorite foods.

A party dress that fits you just right is hung by the entrance. 

All you have to do is respond, “yes.” 

All you have to do is

     “Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with God.”

All you have to do is

     “Love God and love your neighbor.”

All you have to do is put on the garment God has selected.

Or

Feel free to continue living your own life

Out in the cold trying to do your own thing

Thinking you are entitled to having it your own way

Bound in knots by society’s definition of success

Caught in a cycle of violence and greed with others 

        who are gnashing their teeth and weeping. 

God’s throwing a party

You are invited. 

Will you accept?
